Andrew Morgan has spent nearly three decades in the trenches of the MSP industry, long enough to remember when MSPs were still called systems integrators. He started on that side of the business in 1998.

As one of the earliest employees at ConnectWise, Andrew held a sales leadership role, created the “The Partner Summit” (now IT Nation Connect) and ultimately led the company's cybersecurity strategy, giving him a front-row seat to both the explosive growth of the MSP ecosystem. What he saw shaped a conviction that still drives his work today: the security of the SMB economy runs through the MSP, and most MSPs were never given the training to carry that weight.

That conviction became Right of Boom, one of the few vendor-agnostic conferences left in the industry. While much of the channel event circuit sells sponsorship-driven content, Right of Boom is built on a different premise: real training, education, and certification for the people doing the work: executives, security leaders, and hands-on practitioners. Its mission is twofold and inseparable: advancing the cyber maturity of MSPs in an AI era, and building the profitability that makes that maturity sustainable.

Andrew also hosts The CyberCall, a weekly gathering of thousands of MSP security professionals where the industry's sharpest minds break down the threats, regulations, and business decisions shaping the channel in plain language, with no vendor pitch.
