Zero Trust has become the standard best practices approach for enterprise information security, with broad adoption across both public and private sector organizations. However, given MSPs uniquely close-but-external operational, architectural, and working relationships with their customers, we must ask ourselves whether and how Zero Trust applies to this world.
In this session, we explore Zero Trust’s history and principles, examining how it can be most effectively applied by MSPs for customer environments. We’ll introduce several models for how MSPs can leverage Zero Trust principles to improve security outcomes, drive increased revenue, or both. And we’ll walk through a blueprint for a successful Zero Trust initiative, encompassing organizational readiness, maturity assessment, program definition, and roadmap planning. Attendees will leave with an understanding of how to create a Zero Trust program tailored to their business and customer profiles, and with renewed enthusiasm to get started.

The rapid pace of technological change makes it difficult to predict the future of AI. However, there are several mental models that we can use for ourselves and our clients to see the shadow of what’s to come. They give us clear thinking through patterns that clearly point to new opportunities and new threats. This talk uses several of these models in combination to help us understand the present and the potential futures in AI to systematically plan for what’s next in security.
