Okay, so Wes, what I'll do is, um, tee us up, you know, hey, coming to you, you know, Wes and Andrew talking about the cyber call. Wes, incidentally, we had teed up today cyber resilience. We get the notification from CSA that Orion SolarWinds, Orion's now been compromised. What is this telling you, Wes, you know, in terms of how MSPs need to start looking at the world and why is cyber resilience so critical? What are your thoughts? Okay, perfect. Something like that. Yep, that works.

Hey look, we've been all, for years, MSPs been thinking about prevention the last few years. I, d, s and SIM have come around. So we got into detection. You can no longer just operate in this paradigm. You've gotta operate in a, hey, assume breach world, blah, blah, blah. Yep. Perfect. Okay, cool. Alright, I'll count us down. 3, 2, 1. Hey everybody, Andrew, Morgan, Wes Spencer here from the cyber call.

Wes, Really Interesting today we have queued up cyber resilience, um, coming live in just a few hours here. We get some news over the weekend that SolarWinds, Orion, not End Central, but SolarWinds, Orion, their legacy NMS network monitoring system has been used as a tool to compromise, uh, it looks like the treasury. And, and so right away cis coming out with statements. You know, let me turn it to you.

When we think about cyber resilience or when you think about cyber resilience, what should MSPs be focusing on now and why are we gonna be talking about this on the cyber call today? Yeah, so a really good question Andrew, and thanks for bringing me on for this. So cyber resilience is all about sort of understanding this idea for us as security practitioners that we've gotta jump out of this assumption that a breach will never happen to me.

And I think a lot of times if people, if we're honest, especially as MSPs and practitioners, we're very afraid that some breach is going to happen, it's gonna shut us down.

And I think what we really need to be thinking about instead of just this, um, avoid breach and avoid, you know, ever thinking about it and talking about it being like the, the bird that sticks its head in the sand, the ostrich or whatever, Andrew, what we should really be doing is operating around that mentality of a breach is coming or a breach has already happened. And that's not to say a defeatist mentality. We're gonna talk about that on the cyber call today.

It is to say much more around, let's operate under the assumption that at some point this is going to happen. So how can we be resilient around it and how can we have conversations with our car, with our, our clients and our partners that assumes that this is gonna happen at some point in time and how can that lead into better discussions of when it happens, the reality of it.

And so we have the ability to respond, recover much quicker because Andrew, as you just said, you know, our friends at at SolarWinds are working through this right now. We're gonna talk about that on the cyber call today. Uh, but we're just gonna, we're not gonna get into speculation. We're not gonna get into, uh, any of those kinds of things.

We're gonna talk about what we know and what we should all be doing around all of this because again, that assumed breach mentality, it's something that could happen to any of us at any point in time and we need to be prepared for it. Andrew? Yeah, great point. Wes and Gary, I know is gonna be talking about what questions, you know, you should be asking prospects to start to think about, Hey, is your MSP doing X, Y, and z really helping you position and wedge, uh, to, to help win business?

So really excited about it, Wes looking forward to seeing you on and the rest of the team. Andrew. Thank you. Can't wait. Cool. I think that was good. Yeah. Cool. Um, so I'll, I'll splice that. I'll get it out there shortly. Um, it was interesting. May, you know, maybe just my view, but it was, uh, it went blurry. You were really good. And then I'm wondering if it, if it if, uh, I'll look at it after the recording, but Well, you wanna do another one real quick just in case?

It could just been my internet speed went Weird. Like real. It's like right now you're like, am I clear to you? Yeah, you're clear to me. Mm-Hmm. So you're blurry to me for some reason, but are you clear to you? Yeah, let me go off hd, hd I fix anything, Didn't. No, But do you look good to you? I'm just curious on your side. Yeah. But that it could affect the stream, the outbound stream back to you now It looks better. It does. Okay. I don't know. I haven't done anything different.

Yeah, It's in there. That's strange. It's okay. We, we will go. I mean it's more what you're saying. I, I'm not worried about. Okay. But you maybe mess around with it a little bit, but yeah, it was really clear. Like, like you, how you're saying the camera's focusing, it came in really good and then it's kinda, It's in and out, huh? Yeah, Yeah, yeah. I don't, I don't know what causes that. Um, you know, yours was blurry when we got started and then, and then got better. Yeah. Clear enough.

So, yeah, I never know. Is it like on my end, your end both And who knows? It's maybe fricking Crowdcast. Yeah. Could be very, Very possible. Yep. Could be. And we may, um, you know, Crowdcast is meant for live streaming, so it'll of course downgrade quality to keep things going. Um, if it does this, we may want to just switch to Zoom for these things.

'cause Zoom does allow you to do an HD recording and it will, I think the way it works is it records locally to your machine and then sends up that stream later. Oh, okay. So that's kind of nice because it's a way of guaranteeing as long as like if I look at my internal stream on Snap camera, I mean it's sharp and crisp no matter what. 'cause that's local, there's no bandwidth issues.

But yeah, let's, let's just see what happens and if it's Puy, um, in the future, we could switch to Zoom to do it. Okay. Awesome. All right, I'll get this up, man. Okay, cool. Thanks Man. See you soon. Bye. In a bit. Bye.
